Capt. Gordon is the Owner and a resident Artist at Time Bomb Tattoos & Curiosities. Born and raised in Maryland, he’s been tattooing professionally since 1992 and piercing since 1995. A creative force with a vibrant energy, Gordon is known for his versatility and award-winning work — recognized for Color Portraits, Large Scale Color, Cover-Ups, Tribal, and even a nod for Most Bizarre. He studied Architecture before life steered him into tattooing, starting his career in Gaithersburg while captaining White’s Ferry, a 28-car carrier. Nicknamed “Capn’ Staub” by Big Al and later dubbed Capt. Gordon after a run-in with Capt. Don Leslie, the name stuck — and the legend began. When not working at the studio, Gordon channels his passion into various creative projects. He’s available by appointment only on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
